The Beginning

2016

Daniel’s Food Truck started in 2016 as a family venture to share Guatemalan culture with our community. Opening that year on the 4th of July, we had our first experience of a true event. It was rowdy and hectic, but we loved it!

Although it was a rocky start, we worked through our first year. From there, our days were filled with awesome events and amazing people. Experiences and memories that we loved making with all of you!

After an amazing start in 2019, we were unfortunately hit with a pandemic. A pandemic that cost everyone so much. Like many of you, our family also had to adjust. No longer serving in the evenings. No longer going to events. Everything was shut down.

Yet as we at Daniel’s like to say. We don’t give up just cause it’s hard. We kept at it. Working days, it became a blessing in disguise. We were able to meet all of our clients who only knew us in the nighttime. With all your help we won 2 awards that year. “BEST FOOD TRUCK IN CT” - BEST OF THE GOLD COAST. “BEST FOOD TRUCK 2020” - Stamford Advocate.
